Classical dance event by Vaishali Kala Kendra fascinates Noida audience

Vaishali Kala Kendra organized a classical Dance and music fiesta at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra in Noida on Sunday evening.
The event was directed by renowned classical dancer and teacher Jyoti Shrivastava. Ex-DM of GB Nagar N P Singh was the chief guest at the occasion. ICCR Director Syed Mahmood Akhtar was the honorable guest of the evening.
Oddishi, Kathak and Bharat Natyam performance were made by different dance groups.
Maglacharan dance form from Odisha was as well as Pallavi dance form performed by little students was much appreciated by the gathering.
Duel based on Radha-Krishna leela was also performed during the evening by Bengali classic dance expert, Pratima.
Thumri on ‘dagar chalat dekho Shyam’ was also immensely appreciated by the audience.
Speaking at the event incumbent Sahranpur DM N P Singh said, “It took scientists hundreds of years to discover that universe has oscillating particles as core of its existence. They gave theorem that every particle is oscillating energy between two different poles.
But when I see such synchronized dance I feel if they would have seen the balance and synergy of these classical art forms they would have come to such conclusion rather easily”.
He further said, “Such dance form can get an individual into an exemplary synchronization with nature”.
Gajanan Mali, Chairman of TEN NEWS felicitated performers after the event.
He said,”Jyoti Shrivastava is not only an exceptionaly talented dancer herself but her disciples today have proved that she is an equally important excellent teacher also. I wish her all the best in her journey towards spreading this art form to more and more people”.
