Closely monitoring price and market situation says Revenue Secretary, Big Bazar CEO posts first #GST bill of India

Revenue Secretary Hasmukh Adhia today said that department is closely monitoring the price situation and supply chain after the implementation of GST.
He also said that all apprehensions regarding questionable readiness for GST as well as traders preparation for the same have been put to hold as four day after the roll-out no complaint has been received regarding any hindrance being faced in adoption of GST guidelines in the country.
The revenue secretary has also appealed to people to not to circulate any unverified messages and posts related to GST as it is causing unwarranted confusion in the market.

Hasmukh Adhia aso clarified that in many cases GST rates appear high because many other invisible taxes have now been subsumed into one.
BIG BAZAAR makes claim for issuing first GST bill
Big Bazaar CEO Kishore Biyani tweeted image of a bill from one of his supermarket outlets claiming it to be India’s first GST bill. The tweet was later deleted but not before it grabbed multiple headlines all over the country.
