Consistency, Confidence & Success: Aaradhya Shekhar Emerges as CBSE Top Performer

Greater Noida (25/05/2026): The declaration of CBSE Class 10 results has brought celebrations and emotional moments for students and parents across the country. Among the bright achievers this year is Aaradhya Shekhar from Delhi Public School (DPS), Greater Noida, who secured exceptional marks and emerged as one of the top-performing students. In an exclusive interaction with Ten News Network, Aaradhya and her family shared their inspiring journey of hard work, discipline, sacrifice, and determination behind this remarkable achievement.

Speaking about the moment she saw her result, Aaradhya said it was one of the happiest experiences of her life. As soon as we checked the result, my mother and I started jumping with excitement. I immediately called my family members, and within minutes I started receiving calls and video calls from teachers and friends. It became even more special because all my friends also scored really well. It was truly a memorable moment for all of us, she said.

Sharing details about her preparation strategy, Aaradhya revealed that consistency and regular practice played the biggest role in her success. During the exam period, I used to study late at night, sometimes till 4 or 5 AM, so I would wake up around 10 in the morning. For almost one month before exams, I solved at least one sample paper every single day, she explained.

She also acknowledged the support she received from her coaching institutes and mentors. Aaradhya mentioned that regular mock tests conducted by Ranjana Ma’am, Omesh Sir at VMC, and the weekend tests at VMC helped her improve her confidence and exam temperament significantly.

Talking about her favorite subject, Aaradhya said Mathematics was the subject she enjoyed the most. I used to solve maths sample papers with my friends during online study sessions. Maths was my favorite subject because I genuinely enjoyed solving problems and practicing concepts, she said.

When asked about her biggest source of motivation, Aaradhya credited her parents for standing by her throughout the journey. My parents never pressured me regarding marks. I managed both academics and dance together, and somewhere inside me, I always wanted to make my parents proud, she shared emotionally.

Aaradhya also praised the role of Delhi Public School, Greater Noida, in shaping her academic success. She said her teachers remained approachable and supportive throughout the year. My teachers were extremely supportive. We could message them anytime for doubts, and they always guided us patiently. They regularly checked our papers and gave feedback on where we needed improvement. My Mathematics teacher especially motivated me a lot, she added.

Giving advice to future CBSE aspirants, Aaradhya emphasized the importance of discipline and consistency from the very beginning of the academic session. Students should stay consistent throughout Class 10 and focus on every chapter from the start. If you study regularly, there will be no last-minute pressure before exams, she advised.

Aaradhya’s achievement brought immense pride and happiness to her family as well. Speaking to Ten News Network, her mother became emotional while recalling the moment she saw her daughter’s result. I hugged Aaradhya immediately, and tears of happiness started rolling down my eyes. Whenever I visited the school and saw toppers’ photographs displayed on the walls, I used to dream that one day my daughter’s photograph would also be there. Today, that dream has come true, she said proudly.

Her mother further added that the entire family always had confidence in Aaradhya’s dedication and sincerity. She used to study regularly with her friends, discuss subjects in groups, and stay self-motivated. We never had to force her to study because she was already focused on her goals, she said.

Aaradhya’s younger sibling also expressed admiration and inspiration after witnessing her success. I scored good marks, but after seeing my sister’s achievement, I feel even more motivated now. I want to work harder and score even better in the future, she said with excitement.

Her father described the result day as one of the proudest moments of his life. Every father dreams of seeing his child progress and succeed in life. When teachers personally appreciated Aaradhya and praised her excellent marks, it gave me immense happiness and satisfaction. I truly believe she will continue to achieve great success in the future, he said.

He also shared an inspiring message for students and parents. Children should never become negative because of marks, whether they score less or more. A positive mindset is extremely important in life. Hard work matters the most, but along with hard work, one should also have faith in God. Many students work hard, but exceptional success also comes with blessings, he added.
