Couples shy away from Okhla bird sanctuary due to moral policing

UP Police cops have devised a new method to extract money from unsuspecting couples at the Okhla Bird Sanctuary – moral policing. Couples visiting the sanctuary – which has a large number of migratory and resident bird species of thorny scrub, grassland and wetland – are scared of entering the area as policemen have been threatening them with charges of indecent behaviour to extract bribes from them.
