CUET 2022: Galgotias University emerges as a top hotspot for UG students with 3 lakh+ applications
Greater Noida (29/05/2022): Galgotias University, Greater Noida has once again proved its pioneer status in the field of education by grabbing the second position in terms of application received by private universities under CUET 2022.
Overall also it has found a respectable position among top 8 most preferred universities in the country in terms of number of applications received, with over 3 lakh plus applications. The Common University Entrance Test, earlier known as Central Universities Common Entrance Test is an all-India test being organized by National Testing Agency for admission to various Undergraduate, Integrated, Postgraduate, Diploma, Certification courses and Research Programmes.
Earlier this week, UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar had tweeted that till May 23, a record 11.51 lakh candidates had registered for the CUET UG exam since the registration window for the test was opened on 2 April, and around 9.13 lakh had paid the application fees.
As many as 87 central universities and private universities including Galgotias University have opted to admit students through CUET this year.
