Customer, beautician get into brawl over eyebrow procedure, cases registered

New Delhi, 21 September 2022: In South Delhi’s INA Market, a catfight took place between a beautician and a customer over an alleged messed-up eyebrow treatment on Tuesday.

According to the police, they got a PCR call and arrived at the spot where they discovered the two women. The complainant, a resident of NBCC, Kidwai Nagar, claimed that she had come for eyebrow threading, and the beautician has messed that up. However, the beautician claimed that her clothes were also torn and the customer had bit her on the arm.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), Chandan Chowdhary said, “The woman did not like the eyebrow work and an argument broke out between the two. It escalated to a fight. We have been told that the beautician beat up the woman and bit her on the arm. The beautician’s parents also abused the woman. It was revealed that the woman also beat up the beautician and tore her clothes.”

The beautician has been charged by the police for inflicting harm, criminal intimidation, insulting a woman’s modesty, and assault with a weapon, all according to the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The woman has been booked under inflicting harm and improper restraint. They stated that both cases were under investigation and that no arrests had been made as of yet.
