Deepika in awe of Victoria’s dresses, says ‘I want this dress’
New Delhi: Actor Deepika Padukone seems to be in awe of the dresses by designer Victoria Beckham. Former Spice Girl, Victoria had recently posted pictures from her vacation where she can be seen enjoying her time with singer Elton John, David Furnish and her husband David Beckham on a yacht. Deepika liked the dress very much, and even expressed her desire to have the dresses in both the colours. Victoria was dressed in strappy maxi gown in two different colours, black and white, in two separate pictures.
While commenting on Victoria’s picture, the actor wrote: “I want this dress!!!in both the colors you wore them in.”
Apparently, Victoria Beckham is one of the favourite designers of Deepika as she has worn the famous British designer’s dresses on many occasions. She had worn a red dress at the screening of Race 2, which was from the designer’s label.
Meanwhile, the actor has completed the shooting schedule for the film ‘Chhapak’ directed by Meghna Gulzar. It is based on a true event where a girl named Laxmi Aggarwal from Delhi suffered an acid attack. Deepika is playing the role of the acid attack survivor who is names as Malti in the film. Being touched by the story, the actor is even producing the film.
She is currently in London for shooting her part of the film ‘83 with husband Ranveer Singh. The film is based on the victory of Indian team at the ICC World Cup 1983 in England. Ranveer is playing the lead role of Kapil Dev, who had inspired the teammates to the extent that lead them to become winners. Deepika is playing the role of Kapil Dev’s wife, Romi Dev. Even if she is playing the supporting role, the actor has always emphasised on how important the part a supporting cast is as without those characters the film is incomplete.
