New Delhi News (28 October 2025): India’s vision of strengthening its domestic manufacturing ecosystem received a remarkable boost in New Delhi today as the Press Briefing for the 7th edition of India Manufacturing Show (IMS 2025) concluded with exceptional participation from industry leaders and key government stakeholders. Scheduled to be held from November 06-08 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru, the mega event will be inaugurated by Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh, along with the presence of senior Union Ministers and top officials from ISRO, DRDO, Armed Forces and key Defence PSUs.
Organized by IMS Foundation under the aegis of Laghu Udyog Bharati, and supported by the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of MSME, Ministry of Steel & Heavy Industries and the Government of Karnataka, the briefing highlighted an impressive scale for this year’s show. Over 450 exhibitors, including 220 MSMEs, alongside State Pavilions and Defence PSUs, have already confirmed participation.
Industry stalwarts such as Baba Kalyani, Arun Ramchandani, Satyanarayan Nuwal, and Shaurya Doval are expected to be part of the Bengaluru edition. The event will also host IMSCON 2025, a two-day international conference on “Empowering India: The Future of Global Manufacturing.”
Addressing the media, Sunil Deodhar, Member, Advisory Board-IMS 2025, said that the enthusiasm among MSMEs clearly reflects India’s manufacturing preparedness and a strong push toward integrating into global defence and aerospace supply chains. “‘Make in India’ is no longer merely a slogan. It is now transforming into a tangible reality across production floors,” he stated.
H.V.S Krishna, Chairman, IMS Foundation, expressed that IMS 2025 will demonstrate real manufacturing capabilities and growing global competency of Indian MSMEs. He also presented key highlights from the IMS Curtain Raiser and past editions.
Further elaborating on the conference component, Dr. Sachin Sabnis, IMSCON Chair, shared details about the participation of distinguished speakers from Defence Ministry, Armed Forces, DRDO, CSIR, major industries, and international institutions.
Jitendra Singh, Former Defence Scientist and Chief Advisor of Laghu Udyog Bharati, emphasized that IMS 2025 is fully aligned with India’s march towards Atmanirbhar Bharat in Aerospace and Defence.
Representing India Exposition Mart Limited, Dr. Rakesh Kumar and Sudeep Sarkar noted that IMS has now evolved into a credible platform focusing on meaningful business engagement through structured B2B meetings and targeted networking opportunities.
