New Delhi News (28 October 2025): India Expo Centre & Mart Chairman Dr. Rakesh Kumar has asserted that IMS 2025 will set a new benchmark in business-focused collaboration within India’s defence and manufacturing ecosystem. Speaking at the Press Brief in New Delhi, he emphasized that the event is designed to drive tangible B2B outcomes, making it a powerful platform for industry and government partnerships.
Dr. Kumar highlighted that the 7th edition of IMS will take place from November 6 to 8 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru, one of the nation’s largest exhibition venues. As a co-organiser, India Expo Centre & Mart is closely working with Laghu Udyog Bharati to ensure a large-scale and impactful execution of the event.
“This is a major effort and India Expo Centre & Mart is proud to be associated with it,” Dr. Kumar said while underlining that IMS 2025 goes far beyond a traditional exhibition format. “Real manufacturing capabilities, particularly in defence, will be demonstrated here. The sector is rapidly growing, and the country needs such platforms to showcase emerging strength.”
He said that knowledge sessions will form a significant part of the event, with 1000+ delegates already confirmed. The conference theme, “Empowering India: The Future of Global Manufacturing,” reflects the ambition to position India as a formidable global player.
Calling IMS a credible business platform, Dr. Kumar added, “From structured B2B meetings to targeted networking, this year’s edition will focus on tangible business outcomes rather than optics.” He further noted that government undertakings and major organisations working in the defence and aerospace ecosystem are coming fully prepared for serious business engagement.
Dr. Kumar expressed confidence that Atmanirbhar Bharat will be visible not just in narratives but on the ground, as IMS 2025 aims to demonstrate India’s manufacturing self-reliance in action. “A self-sustaining India is the message of the nation, and IMS is going to project that very powerfully,” he concluded.
IMS 2025 is expected to significantly strengthen India’s position as a global hub for innovation, defence collaboration, and industrial excellence.
