DELHI BJP SUGGESTS CONSTITUTION OF STATUTORY LABOUR WAGE BOARD IN DELHI FOR PERIODIC REVISION OF MINIMUM WAGES
New Delhi, 17th August. Delhi BJP President Shri Satish Upadhyay has said that Delhi Government should stop playing politics on sensitive issues like minimum wages for the labour.
Shri Satish Upadhyay has said that it is a worst example of dirty politics that a Chief Minister in his Independence Day address announces raise of minimum wages in Delhi without any cabinet approval and his political Party’s Trade Wing announces protest against the raise in minimum wages within a few hours.
Shri Upadhyay has said that Delhi BJP leaders will soon meet the Lt. Governor of Delhi and demand constitution of Labour Wage Board in Delhi which should have statutory power for periodic rivision of minimum wages. This announcement should not be linked to the political decision making.
