New Delhi, 03rd July 2023: Officials have initiated an investigation after a drone was detected over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence in Delhi early this morning.
The no-fly zone extends to the Prime Minister’s official house. At roughly 5 a.m., the drone was purportedly sighted over the PM house. The Delhi Police initiated a search operation to trace the flying item after being warned by Special Protection Group (SPG) officers.
According to the Delhi Police, information regarding an unidentified flying object near the PM’s house was received at the police control room. “Thorough searches were conducted in nearby areas, but no such object was discovered,” police said. The air traffic control room (ATC) was also notified, but they found no flying object near the PM’s residence.
The police department also stated that an investigation was ongoing.
