New Delhi (24/12/2021): Delhi on Wednesday reported180 new COVID19 cases in the last 24 hours.
The active caseload stands at 782, test positivity at 0.29%.
Meanwhile, Health ministry has warned that it is important to stay vigilant against Omicron as it has greater transmissibility.
“WHO on Dec 7 said that #Omicron has a significant growth advantage over Delta which means, it has greater transmissibility. Omicron cases double within 1.5-3 days, so we have to remain vigilant with covid appropriate behaviour,” said Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan earlier today.
