THE DEVELOPMENT IS VERY SLOW IN GREATER NOIDA SAYS, ADITYA GHILDYAL SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF ASSOCIATION OF GREATER NOIDA INUSTRIES

TN- Whats your take on the industrial development in this area?
AG– As far as development is concerned in this area, the development phase is very slow and what ever you see in the paper is shame. Any project they announce is not completed, whether it is because crunch of funds, or any other reasons like officers being transferred, or what ever the policy or changes they keep on doing, and I think its because of that things are not moving in that pace, in which greater noida was suppose to.

TN- What are the challenges in the industrial development in Greater Noida region?
AG– There are n number of challenges, they have to have positive model in the government, even the top bosses are too superstitious, even our chief ministers never came to Gautam Budh Nagar, first of all this has to be broken, until unless chief ministers comes here and he sees himself, what exactly its going on out here in Greater Noida, Noida, Yamuna Express Way, things are not going to move. There are lot of bureaucracy out here, they have to be professional, they have to be pro active, they have to think twenty years down the line, they don’t have to think about tomorrow or year or too. only then they will get success, there are end number of reason, just see greater noida west, in fact five years we questioned then chairman, there is lot of traffic jam, you have to have some pro active approach, but till date its not been done, see all the flats are empty, eighty percent are empty and you can see the rush, most of the jam is in greater noida, what will happen once all those flats are occupied. So they are not thinking ten or twenty years down the line, they are just thinking month or year or two.

TN – What are the major challenges your officer faced to keep the industrial growth on fast track mode?
AG– I strongly feel that till date, state government was not very positive about the industries especially the existing industries, they have not supported them, because there are end numbers of multi national companies who are here in greater noida, they wanted to expand their plant, but unfortunately they were not given any opportunity, that is why they went to other states, had they been positive, government been positive, have the chief ministers have been here, things would have been different, he would come to know what exactly is the problem and if those multinational would have been given land to expand, they would have brought more industries from their country, lot of revenue would have been generated, the scenario would have been different, which is at present.

TN- Any suggestion for the government or Greater Noida industry authority?
AG– They have to be pro active, they have to think more in advance and out of box, what today they are doing, they need to change their working style, they have to be professional, they are not professional at all and still they are carrying the 1946 attitude.
