DM Gautam Buddha Nagar debuts on twitter for maximum outreach to citizens

(14/06/2017) Greater Noida : District Magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar district Brajesh Narayan Singh has now debuted on popular social media networking site twitter. On Tuesday the official twitter handle of DM G B Nagar became active and has only posted the first tweet announcing it to be the official handle.

Since after elevation of Narendra Modi as PM in 2014, twitter has been extensively used by large number of citizens to have their grievances heard and resolved.

Following the footsteps:

UP CM Yogi Adityanath also followed in the footsteps and had also asked most of his legislators and ministers to be active on the social media. Though officially their is no such directive for administrative officials but lately UP Police has been getting lot of praises and accolades for handling the complaints recieved through twitter in a very efficient and public friendly manner.

District residents are delighted with DM debuting on the twitter and are hopeful that it will not only bring more transparency in the administrative circles but would also make it easy for them to reach the top district officials.

As of now the description of the official handle’s introduction only refers to convey information regarding the development work and initiatives of G B Nagar administration but we are sure with time it will be an efficient tool to connect with people and sort out their issues in real time.
