What’s your vision behind establishing Ishan Ayurvedic college ?
As I am very much influenced to Ayurveda I had given my whole life to this so it was my motive to extend these benefits to more people and hence was born the idea of establishing this college.
What challenges did you face in while bringing this innovative course in Greater Noida?
First thing is that people are always in hurry and wanted to get treated very soon and the second thing is that there is no proper infrastructure no pharmacy in this area of this domain and the third challenge was getting a license from administration. It has been really tough because of the kind of corruption we had in our system.
What is the duration of each course and procedure of taking admission in the same?
We are running here One course. B.A.M.S that has a duration of five and half years equivalent to M.B.B.S. Admission procedure comes under Government of Uttar Pradesh and seat were allotted after counseling.
What are the Major ailments that can be treated here?
As we had our focus on specialization apart from routine program so as per the program Cancer, Alsar, TB, Skin related problems and Asthama will be treated here.
One of the most important thing in any hospital is its affordability, so how affordable it will be for common people ?
As it is not a profit making organization and a lot is being contributed from our trust and from our family funds too. So service will be available at very low cost so everyone can afford it and get benefited from it.
A lot of people have different misconceptions regarding Ayurveda . What do you have to say on that?
Actually people still are not very aware of that hence they have these kind of mis-conceptions that they should need to read about Ayurvada and discuss more about it . Ayurveda is a natural science started from India which enables us to improve our immunity. We should need to practice it in our daily life.
What’s your vision for future developments in this regard ?
My vision is to develop at least 2 to 3 patents annually and develop a good research center. Soon we will also publish a health magazines and books on Ayurveda
