Dr. Khushboo Singh Resigns from IBA, Sets Sights on Wider Mission for Women Entrepreneurs

Greater Noida News (October 9, 2026): Dr. Khushboo Singh, an entrepreneur and advocate of women empowerment and skill development, has resigned from her positions as Vice President and Founding Member of the Indian Business Association (IBA). Announcing her decision on October 8, 2026, she said she intends to pursue a broader vision focused on national interests, entrepreneurs’ welfare and, particularly, the empowerment of women.

Dr. Singh, who has been associated with IBA since its inception, said her decision comes after nearly two years of dedicated service to the organisation. Reflecting on her journey, she expressed gratitude to the IBA leadership and members, describing her association with the organisation as a memorable experience.

Focus on Women Empowerment and Skill Development

Explaining the rationale behind her resignation, Dr. Singh said her long-standing commitment to women’s empowerment and skill development has encouraged her to expand her efforts beyond her existing role. She believes that creating meaningful opportunities for women, particularly those pursuing entrepreneurship, requires a wider approach and stronger engagement at the grassroots level.

According to Dr. Singh, many women entrepreneurs and small business owners are still unable to access the full benefits of government schemes, institutional support and facilities offered by various authorities and departments. Limited awareness and difficulties in accessing these resources can prevent entrepreneurs from taking advantage of opportunities designed to support business growth.

She emphasised that her future efforts will focus on bridging this gap and ensuring that government initiatives translate into tangible benefits for entrepreneurs, especially women-led businesses.

Ensuring Government Benefits Reach Entrepreneurs at the Ground Level

Dr. Singh said she wants to strengthen the connection between government support systems and entrepreneurs working at the grassroots level. Her objective is to help women entrepreneurs and small business owners gain better access to relevant schemes, resources and institutional assistance.

She believes that empowering entrepreneurs requires more than the announcement of policies and schemes; effective implementation and accessibility are equally important. Ensuring that eligible beneficiaries understand and receive the support available to them will be a key area of focus in her future endeavours.

Explaining her decision, Dr. Singh stated that stepping down from her responsibilities at IBA would allow her to direct her time and energy towards this broader mission more effectively.

A Broader Vision for National and Entrepreneurial Interests

Dr. Singh reiterated that her commitment to the nation, the entrepreneurial community and women’s development remains unchanged. She described her resignation as a step towards expanding the scope of her work rather than moving away from the causes she has consistently supported.

Her stated priorities include promoting women’s economic participation, strengthening skill development and helping entrepreneurs access opportunities that can contribute to sustainable business growth.

Concluding her statement, Dr. Singh reaffirmed her commitment to serving the nation and working for the welfare of entrepreneurs, with particular emphasis on women. She expressed confidence in continuing her efforts through a broader vision aimed at creating meaningful opportunities and ensuring that support reaches those who need it most.

Her resignation marks the end of her formal tenure as Vice President and Founding Member of IBA, while she plans to continue pursuing her stated objectives in entrepreneurship development and women’s empowerment.
