Drunk Man shot himself in Greater Noida, admitted to Kailash Hospital

Greater Noida (11/3/2019 ) : A 28-year-old Drunk man shot himself after he misfires from his pistol on Saturday Night. After the incident, he was rushed to Kailash hospitals were his condition told to be stable now.
The victim was identified as Rahul Kashyap, is a resident of a Greater Noida-West based village under Eco Tech 3 area. According to the police, Kashyap was travelling in his car along with his friend from Delhi to Greater Noida after attending a wedding event.
As per the information around 10:30 in Night they stopped some were under Ecotech 3 area to urinate. Meanwhile, victim pistol got misfired which he was carrying in his waist and received gunshot in his chest.
“We received information around 9.30pm that a man had been shot at on a road stretch in Eco Tech3 area and a team was rushed. The man was rushed to Kailash Hospital in Greater Noida and his condition is stable. It was found that man had stopped his car and had gone to the roadside to attend nature’s call. Prima facie, it appears that the man shot himself but we are probing the case,” Anita Chauhan, SHO, Eco Tech 3, said.
Police said they are investigating whether the weapon is licensed or not. Police denied any reports that Kashyap might have been in a drunken stupor. “We have not yet received his statement. No case has been registered yet. His families have declined to comment so far,” Chauhan said.
For now, the condition of the victim is told to be stable by hospital staff after he went through a surgery on Sunday to remove bullet.
