Eight people die of Corona on Tuesday in Gautam Buddh Nagar, highest in a day so far

Noida, 21st April: On Tuesday, Gautam Buddh Nagar recorded 640 new Covid cases and 8 deaths, highest in a day so far. With this, the death count in the district has reached to 114. Earlier on Monday, three Covid patients had lost their lives.

With sharp rise in Covid cases in the month of April, the shortage of Covid beds, oxygen supply, Covid drugs continues to persist in the District.

Now the total number of patients has reached to 31,597, out of which 2,7718 patients have been cured. Currently 3,765 patients are under home Isolation or undergoing treatment at Covid hospitals.

In the district, 6,087 people were vaccinated on Tuesday at 40 government and 36 private centers. In this, 900 people aged 60 years and above were given the first and 1793 people were given the second dose.
