ELECTION OF FONRWA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE – FONRWA ISSUES ULTIMATUM TO MEMBERS TO PAY DUES

All FONRWA Members,
In compliance of the amended Judgment Order of Hon’ble Justice Mrs. Sunita Agarwal, of Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad, issued on 24.4.2015, directing Registrar of Societies, to conduct the election of FONRWA Executive Committee, in accordance with the bye-laws within one month from the date a certified copy of the Order of Hon’ble High Court, is produced, the matter was discussed with the Deputy Registrar, Societies, Meerut, today.
We have been asked to provide him relevant documents to enable him to initiate the process of election. We informed him that some of the member RWAs have not yet cleared their dues for the year 2014-2015 despite our earlier circular dated 18.4.2015, requesting Member RWAs to pay their outstanding by the 25th April, 2015, drawing their attention to clause 12 of the Articles of Association, wherein it is provided that “if there are no arrears of the dues of the association as on 31st March of the previous year, members can contest the election and cast their vote.”. With a view to provide an opportunity to the Member RWAs, to clear the arrears of their dues, it has now been decided that one final reminder may be issued to member RWAs to clear all their dues upto the year 2014-2015, by the 22nd May, 2015., without fail. Hence Member RWAs, who have not yet paid their subscription upto the year 2014-2015, are requested to clear their dues by the said stipulated date. Final list of eligible members shall be drawn, after the said stipulated date, containing names & addresses of the member nominees, being eligible to contest/cast their vote in the elections, in terms of the said provision in the Bye-laws.
