Engineer’s SUV robbed at gunpoint in Greater Noida

Greater Noida : On Sunday evening, two unidentified assailants allegedly robbed an SUV from an engineer after taking him on Gunpoint. The incident happed at 6 PM near Migsun roundabout under Surajpur Police Station, when the victim Nishant was out to buy vegetables with his wife and daughter.

As per the reports, “Nistant, a resident of Omaxe Palm Green Society, working with a private firm was on his way to the vegetable market along with his family. He stopped his car near Migsun roundabout to buy vegetables from a vendor, leaving his wife and daughter in his Vitara Brezza. At the same time, two unidentified men took Nishant at gunpoint and snatched his car keys and fled from the spot. The assailants dumped the wife and the daughter after 200 meters.

But as per the police version, Nishant had left the car key inside the vehicle. Central Noida Deputy Commissioner of Police Harish Chander said that the police has launched an investigation into the incident. “The police has taken the complaint from the victim and the process for lodging the FIR is underway. How many people were involved in the incident is yet to be ascertained but there were two people who fled with the car.”

“We had started the combing in the area and soon the culprits will be nabbed,” he added.
