Environment week Celebration at Ryan

The students of Ryan international school, Greater Noida took initiative in celebrating environment week (from 18th July to 25th July) by planting around 1100 various saplings of flowering, fruits, medicinal and shady trees like Mango, Neem, Hibicuss, Litchi, Guava, Gulmohar etc…   They also went to various societies to plant saplings and spread awareness of tree plantation as how it can help reduce global warming. They visited the places, Omax Palm, PArsvanath, Eldco Greens, Jalvayu Vihar, Gamma I, ,Noida sector 27.  They also planted saplings in Village Sakipur under community service.

The students were also  part of an awareness drive and an environment rally as a part of the Environment Week Celebration.  The students from all wings made poster and write slogans on saving the mother earth and discussions were made on the global warming issues.  The students also visited Manitou Group of Companies at Greater Noida where students planted various ornamental and flowering plants.  The visit and initiative by the students were appreciated by the Manitou Group and motivated the students and gifted them T-shirts and caps. The principal Ms Sudha Singh also took initiative to encourage children for Green Drive and appreciated the students for their efforts.
