EPCH re-nominates Avdesh Agarwal as President, IHGF Delhi Fair Spring’ 2023
New Delhi – 2nd January’2023 – The 55th edition of one of the world’s largest handicrafts fairs i.e. IHGF-Delhi fair Spring’2023 will be held from 15-19 March’2023. All stakeholders – participants and visitors have been eagerly waiting to expand business through this mega sourcing platform. The fair is open to overseas buyers, buying and sourcing professionals as well as large domestic volume retail buyers from 15th to 19th March’2023 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida.
In view of his enormous contribution as President, IHGF Delhi Fair Autumn Reception Committee’2022 in the last edition of the fair, IHGF Fair Committee-EPCH requested Avdesh Agarwal to spare time from his busy schedule to once again be the President, IHGF Delhi Fair Spring Reception Committee’2023 and share his past experience to successfully organise the 55th edition of the fair, informed Rakesh Kumar, Director General, EPCH and Chairman, India Exposition Mart Ltd.
Avdesh Agarwal, is a prominent handicraft exporter from Moradabad, U.P. for the last 25 years, he is representing M/s Sri Sai D Art and is one of the coopted member of the Committee of Administration of EPCH and is also General Secretary of Moradabad Handicrafts Exporters Association. Agarwal is actively engaged in social work for the education of girls and working for the education and health of artisans in Moradabad, U.P.
Speaking on the occasion, Avdesh Agarwal informed that the five day fair will brings home, lifestyle, fashion, textiles and furniture products by 3000 including permanent marts of handicrafts exporters from across the country under one roof. Agarwal further said, the fair is one of its kind and this edition will have a wide-ranging selection of 2000+ new products and 300+ design expressions spanning across 14 product categories such as houseware, home furnishing, furniture, gifts and decoratives, lamps and lighting, Christmas & festive décor, fashion jewellery & accessories, spa & wellness, carpets and rugs, bathroom accessories, garden accessories, educational toys & games, handmade paper products & stationery and leather bags. The exhibition will have emphatic representation of craft manufacturing hubs and clusters, at the India Expo Centre Halls making this a comprehensive sourcing destination.
Raj Kumar Malhotra, Chairman-EPCH informed that after the grand success of the 54th edition of IHGF Delhi Fair Autumn’2022 concluded in October’2022 held in physical mode, the 55th edition of IHGF Delhi Fair is likely to witness good response as per the feedback received from the overseas visitors.
Rakesh Kumar, Director General, EPCH said that Avdesh Agarwal with his wide experience and knowledge would further strengthen this world renowned IHGF Delhi fair from his valuable inputs and would result in organization of a successful 55th edition IHGF Delhi fair.
