EVM’s work on Japanese software but there country uses ballot: Communist Party of India

Today during the Election Commission all Political Parties meet on EVM tampering, CPI’s Secretary Atul Kumar Anjaan said that, definitely there is a doubt within the country on the mechanism of EVM, as machine work is dependent on a software which is designed in Japan.
Japan makes software for our EVMs and Japan believes in Ballot paper, so it proves EVM is not fair enough for a big democracy like India.
He further said that, CPI demands for reviewing the EVM working system for betterment of democracy.
