Expert Talk on “Accounting for Managers” at GLBIMR

GLBIMR, in its continuous endeavour to enhance the knowledge and provide practical exposure to PGDM Batch 2016-2018 Students organized three days Expert Talk on “Accounting for Managers” from July 19 – 21, 2016. The Guest Speaker Dr. Satish Kumar, Faculty – Finance, Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, delivered the Expert Talk on Accounting for Managers.  Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR shared that the main objective of three days extensive “Expert Talk” is to give an insight to aspiring managers on various financial concepts, tools and techniques. With 1 years of rich academic experience Dr. Satish Kumar has been associated with elite Institutes like Indian Institute of Technology, Kota and Swinburne University of Technology, Malaysia. He also worked as an adjunct faculty at Centre of Disaster Management and Mitigation at MNIT Jaipur. Dr. Satish Kumar has done his doctorate from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. He is member of Financial Management Association, USA and Asia Finance Association (AFA).This three days “Expert Talk” covered modules on Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Fund Flow Analysis, Risk Management, Derivatives and many more. The “Expert Talk” is an extended effort made by GLBIMR for the PGDM students and will surely improve awareness about business scenarios in addition to their subject knowledge.
