Shri Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, India Expo Centre& Mart met today Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation in his office and also submitted a strategy paper for promotion of Greater Noida.

 

Chairman, India Expo Centre& Mart suggested about the various pockets of crafts which are in the tourist’s circuit such as Moradabad on the way to Nainital, Saharanpur on the way to Mussoorie.  Similarly, India Expo Centre& Mart, housing 900 Handicrafts show rooms also falls in the tourist’s circuit such as Akshardham Temple to Botanical Garden of India to Formula 1 for sports events and further to Agra as historical destination.

 

He further proposed to take advantage of the synergy between tourism and handicrafts as a sizeable number of foreign tourists visits tourist destinations in India and buy a large number of handicrafts as souvenirs. Similarly, business tourists visiting India Expo Centre & Mart would be visiting the tourist destinations. Therefore, this connectivity should be encashed to its full potential.

 

The Hon’ble Minister assured that this International circuit will be promoted further and being in the capacity of Civil Aviation Minister his priority also includes bringing International Airport at Jewar. The delegation of India Expo Mart expressed its satisfaction that this will provide ample opportunities.
