New Delhi (28/12/2021): Federation of All India Medical Association (FAMA) on Tuesday, announced for a complete withdrawal of health care services across India from 8 AM on December 29, 2021 ”in protest against the brutal force use by Delhi police against doctors.”

Moreover, Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA) has already announced of complete shutdown on Monday Morning of all healthcare institutions after over 2000 doctors were detained by the Delhi Police during the protest march against delay in NEET-PG counselling.
The statement issued by FORDA on Monday stated, We strongly condemn this brutal act & demand immediate release of all ResidentDoctors. There will be complete Shutdown of Healthcare Institutions. Medical Fraternity of the nation must come forward in support. We urge all State #RDAs to join the agitation!
A lot many of resident doctors led by the Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA), are protesting in Delhi over the frequent delay of Neet-PG 2021 councelling & Is asking the government to settle Neet-PG councelling since past 11 days now & yet there demand is to be heard.
Moreover, on Monday near Safdarjang Hospital when Resident doctors in Delhi, have been agitating over the delay in NEET-PG 2021 counselling, the doctors claimed of police brutality and lathi-charge.
Furthermore, the police also claimed that there seven personnel were injured near ITO.
Afterwards the FAIMA and AIMS doctors also joined the protest on Tuesday after Police crackdown.
In a statement, the FAIMA said that resident doctors were protesting peacefully and alleged that female doctors were brutally thrashed and lathi-charged by male police personnel during the demonstration.
Nevertheless, Several Resident Doctors Associations (RDAs) across the country threatened a shutdown of medical services starting Tuesday after doctors in the national capital.
According to the RDAs, the protest will continue until the Delhi Police apologises for its alleged crackdown on the doctors on Monday, and the counselling for NEET PG begins.
Moreover, it’s being reported that Representatives of Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA) will meet Union Health Minister Mansukh L. Mandaviya at Nirman Bhavan in Delhi today over their demand to expedite NEET-PG counselling and also seek an apology for alleged police brutality during yesterday’s protest march.
