Finance Budget live at IamSme of India

“The finance budget proposed by the finance minister Arun Jaitley is actually based on a long term vision and would support infrastructure development”, said Shri Rajive Chawla, Chairman IamSme of India. He was addressing to the members of the association in a live budget session held at Hotel Delite Grand on the budget day. The association continued its legacy to view the budget session on large screen collectively and discuss the views of the individual members immediately after the budget speech of the finance minister. Rajive Chawla said that talking about the budget immediately after the live viewing is aimed to get the views of the members without being influenced by any news paper, live TV debates etc.

Commenting on the budget proposals Chawla appreciated the proposals introduced in respect of enhancing the basic exemption limit by Rs.3000/=. He said that introduction of different taxation system for professionals and start ups would save them from hastle of book keeping and still being an honest tax payer. Talking about the infrastructure projects introduced in the budget Chawla said that this is actually based on the long term vision and would help in giving a boost to the industry.

CA Sangeet Gupta discussed salient features of the finance budget as a professional and explained the members about the impact it would be having on them. Another professional Ajay Garg also talked about the provisions of the budget. Other members also discussed their queries and their views on the budget.

On the occasion also present was Sh. Anil Chaudhary, Joint Director District Industries Center Faridabad. He was accompanied by his senior officials Mr. Bhim Singh and Mr. Naresh Chawla to answer any queries of the members. Anil Chaudhary invited all the industries to participate in the ‘Happening Haryana’, the two day event to be held at Gurgaon on 7th and 8th March 2016.

Also present on the occasion was a two member team from KPMG, the world renowned professional company. KPMG, being the knowledge partner to Haryana Government was there in the meeting to take a stock of problems faced by the industries at the root level. While many of the members shared their concerns with the professionals, the professionals were prompt enough to get it noted down for onward submission to the state government.
