#Faridabad Metro line to become operational in May

The Badarpur-Faridabad corridor of the Delhi Metro is set to become operational from May. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said trial runs on the fully elevated 14 km-long section will start in April. A total of nine new stations — Sarai, NHPC Chowk, Mewala Maharajpur, Sector 28, Badkal Mor, Old Faridabad, Neelam Chowk Ajronda, Bata Chowk and Escorts Mujesar — will come up on this line. The corridor is an extension of the Violet Line that currently operates from Mandi House to Badarpur.
