Rs. 1 lakh stolen from educational institute in #Faridabad

Around one lakh rupees were stolen by unidentified people from an educational institute in Faridabad’s Sector-11 on Tuesday.

Karmveer Singh, who runs the institute – Vision Institute of Study – filed a complaint at Sector-7 police station in Faridabad.

He said that on July 14th night, some unidentified persons barged into the institute office and stole Rs 99,578 kept in the cupboards.

Singh said that he suspected people engaged in painting work at the office have committed the offence.

Investigating officer ASI Mohammad Irdish said that an insider could have been involved in the crime as the CCTV cameras installed in the office were switched off on the night the theft took place.
