Woman alleges molestation by neighbour

A 32-year-old woman was allegedly molested by her neighbour here, police said on Thursday.

In a complaint filed with Faridabad police, the woman said that her husband is in prison for quite some time and she lives with her mother-in-law.

She alleged that when she had gone out of her home to dispose of garbage on Wednesday, Lakhan, a distant relative of her husband residing nearby, molested her.

The accused tried to tear her clothes, she alleged.

As the woman started screaming, her mother-in-law rushed to help her. A case was registered against Lakhan with Bhupani police station under relevant sections of the IPC. – PTI
