Greater Noida (3 September 2025): India’s most prominent food and beverage (F&B) ingredients and packaging trade shows—Fi India & ProPak India 2025—opened their doors today at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, drawing more than 340 exhibitors and over 15,000 industry professionals for a three-day showcase of innovation, technology, and investment opportunities.

Organized by Informa Markets in India, the co-located events are bringing together leading stakeholders from across the global food ingredients, processing, and packaging supply chains. With participation from over 50 countries, the 19th edition of Fi India and 7th edition of ProPak India have cemented their status as premier platforms for business, collaboration, and cutting-edge product development in the F&B sector.

The event was inaugurated by an esteemed panel of government officials and industry leaders, including Dr. Prabodh Halde (CASMB), Dr. Dinkar B. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Mudras highlighted the sector’s transformation, stating, “India’s food processing industry is at a pivotal moment. With a rising demand for clean-label, plant-based, and organic foods, events like Fi India and ProPak India act as accelerators for innovation and global collaboration.” He pointed out that India’s organic food market is projected to reach ₹75,000 crore by the end of 2025, underlining the urgency for sustainable innovation.

Day 2 will pivot toward the bakery segment, exploring trans-fat-free production, fortified products, and wellness-focused trends. Day 3 will spotlight start-ups and investment, featuring a fireside chat with investors led by Prashant Naigaonkar of RampUp Advisory LLP, along with a ‘Fund Quest’ session linking innovators to potential backers.

ProPak India’s conference track is equally robust, featuring sessions on packaging design, EPR compliance, cold-chain logistics, and smart supply chains. Noteworthy discussions on Day 1 included branding and packaging strategies led by Bhagyashri Mhatre of Food Monk Consultants, alongside founders of Mooogly and Vedic Mix.
