Fire breaks out at Galgotias University’s food court, no harm reported

1st May, Greater Noida: A fire broke out at around 3 am on Monday at the Galgotias University food court kiosk possibly due to a short circuit. The fire was doused within a short time by the internal team of fire officers at Galgotias University. The fire brigade officials were also called in immediately by the university officials. The entire area was cordoned off by the university officials for the Safety and security of the students and staff.

The university in its statement said, “The safe well-being of the students and staff is the top-most concern for Galgotias University and all measures were promptly taken by the galgotias rapid-action team to resolve the issue.

“We thank the Uttar Pradesh fire officers for providing timely assistance to the university. No one was hurt during the incident,” it added.
