New Delhi: The first Naturopathy Day declared by the Ayush Ministry of Government of India was organized today at Delhi’s Dr. Ambedkar International Center by INO in association with Ministry of AYUSH.
On this occasion AYUSH Minister, Shripad Naik said that the growth and promotion of naturopathy has been possible under the able guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He added, “The AYUSH Ministry is introducing many schemes to spread the Naturopathy Treatment in different provinces out of which Pune, Goa, Delhi, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh are a few provinces where the work on building Natural Clinics is already in progress. Their only aim is that the common people should easily benefit from the Naturopathy Treatment. I admire the INO Chairman, Jai Prakash Agarwal for his many years’ of relentless efforts to get the FIRST NATUROPATHY DAY declared.”

“Shripad Naik is a very simple, dignified and hardworking Minister. During his tenure of 4 years as AYUSH Minister, he did many commendable jobs, and is introducing many important schemes. I wish the benefits of NATUROPAHY TREATMENT should reach every house-hold.”
The National President of INO, Dr. Anant Biradar said that,
“It is the first time that the NATUROPATHY has created a world record. To celebrate its FIRST NATUROPATHY DAY, the INO Team has whole heartedly contributed to organize programmes in 25 states and more than 300 districts. Therefore it is imperative that AYUSH Ministry also extends its cooperation and help all the Doctors working for the NATUROPATHY Treatment by taking imaginative steps to spread the benefits of Naturopathy at a large scale.”
Surya Foundation Chairman, Jai Prakash Agarwal has put great efforts to see that this treatment therapy reaches each and every person of the country and to achieve this goal introduced lot many projects. This all was possible with the combined efforts of thousands of INO Volunteers who worked tirelessly.
More than 1000-Naturopathy Specialist Doctors from all over the country gathered to attend this Programme. Before this, the Naturopathy Day started with a Rally of the Bikers.
On this first NATUROPATHY DAY the INO appointed brand ambassador renowned film Actress, Isha Koppikar was also present. She said, “NATUROPATHY is the only effective therapy that is side-effect-less and drugless too. And to keep oneself healthy, out of the many ancient medicine therapy, Naturopathy is the best option.”
International Naturopathy Organisation (INO) organized Painting and Kaun Banega Swasth Rakshak Competitions for School kids in which they participated enthusiastically.
It may be noted that on November 2014 after the Government of India formed a new AYUSH Ministry, NATIONAL YOGA AND NATUROPATHY DEVELOPMENT BOARD was constituted by the Ministry of AYUSH.
This year the country is celebrating Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th Anniversary. It is a true tribute to Gandhi for declaring 18th November as the NATUROPATHY DAY, because Gandhi himself was a great supporter of natural medicine, his dream was that the benefits of natural medicine must reach each and every household. And the public of the country becomes self-sufficient in Naturopathy treatment. It may be known that Mahatma Gandhi founded All India Nature Cure Foundation and Trust in Pune on 18th Novembner, 1945 and became the founder Trustee Chairman of this Trust.
