Foreign Buyers Laud India International Garment Fair as a Showcase of Innovative Designs and Superior Quality

Greater Noida, 28th June: The 69th edition of India International Garment Fair, the highly anticipated event in the fashion industry, is being organized at the India Export Mart. The fair was inaugurated on June 26th, 2023, by Piyush Goyal, the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry.

Ten News had the opportunity to interview foreign buyers attending the India International Garment Fair. These buyers expressed their keen interest in discovering new designs crafted from exquisite handicrafts, as well as their admiration for the innovative and diverse range of designs on display. Many long-time attendees of the fair shared their unwavering trust in India’s capabilities and expressed their belief in the event’s continuous growth.

The buyers unanimously praised the improving quality of the garments exhibited at the fair, noting a positive transformation since the challenging times of the pandemic. India’s reputation for delivering superior quality products remains intact, as evident in the commendable selection showcased at this event.

In line with the current trends in the fashion industry, India is giving due recognition to handicraft garments, which exemplify modern industry standards. The fair serves as a platform for witnessing the ingenuity and remarkable style of these garments. When rating their overall experience, the majority of participants awarded the fair a perfect score of 10 out of 10, while some allocated 9 or 8 marks, further indicating the fair’s resounding success.
