Rajasthan, Dec 14, 2022: On Wednesday, ex-RBI governor Raghuram Rajan joined Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra spearheaded by Rahul Gandhi in Rajasthan.
The Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Rajasthan, the only Congress-ruled state the Yatra has entered, on December 4. The Rahul Gandhi led-yatra will cover about 500 km over 17 days before entering Haryana on December 21.
“Raghuram Rajan is walking step by step along with Rahul Gandhi. The increasing number of people standing up to unite the country against hatred shows that we will be successful,” Congress shared via its official Twitter handle.
The yatra began from Kanyakumari on September 7 and has so far spanned over the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. It is set to conclude in Jammu and Kashmir in early February 2023.
