Four criminals arrested following a gunfight in Greater Noida

On Saturday Bisarkh Police arrested four criminals after a gunfight took place in front of Cherry County Society.

All four criminals were identified, with two being Farman and Rajua resident of Ghaziabad’s Mussoorie. While Two other miscreants were identified as Moradabad resident Sachin and Polash from West Bengal. Farman and Raju were also carrying a bounty of 25 thousand on their head.

 

During a routine checking drive at around three o’clock in the day, police spotted a Santro car and they signaled them to stop. Instead of stopping they increased the speed of the car and tried to flee from the spot. However police chased them and surrounded them from all side. As they fond themselves surrounded by police they opened fire on police. Retaliating to the criminal’s, police also fired and injured Farman and Raju and both of them were arrested. Later Sachin and Polash were also arrested as they were trying to flee from the spot. Injured criminals were taken to the hospital.

 

Police had recovered one pistol, three country made gun and a Santro car from them. All the criminals had a criminal history and in the past cases were also lodged against the miscreants in Delhi and Meerut. Police was looking for these gangsters from long time.

 

Bisarkh station in-charge Akhilesh Tripathi said that “the gang was active in many states including Rajasthan, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Their main targets were passers-by and large showrooms. During the robbery they used to kill the targets. We are interrogating them many incidents are expected to be busted”.
