Fr. Agnel School, Greater Noida Celebrates 17th Foundation Day with Easter Milan

Greater Noida News (06/04/2026): Fr. Agnel School, Greater Noida marked its 17th Foundation Day with a grand celebration in the form of Easter Milan, bringing together prominent religious leaders and dignitaries to spread the message of unity, peace, and mutual respect among communities. The event reflected the spirit of interfaith harmony and highlighted the importance of coexistence in a diverse society.

The programme was graced by Most Rev. Dr. Raphy Manjaly, Archbishop of Agra, who attended the celebration as the Chief Guest. Several distinguished personalities also joined the gathering, including Most Rev. Anil J. Couto, Acharya Mohanji, Swami Sushilji Maharaj, Rev. Fr. Bento, and other respected religious leaders from different faiths.

The celebration began with a warm welcome ceremony, where the guests were honoured with mementos as a token of appreciation. The formal proceedings opened with a graceful prayer dance, which created a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere and set the tone for the event.

At a time when the world is witnessing conflicts and challenges, the Interfaith Milan served as a powerful platform where spiritual leaders shared messages of unity and brotherhood. Addressing the gathering, Swami Sushil Ji Maharaj emphasized the idea that humanity is one and highlighted the efforts of the Bhartiya Sarv Dharm Sansad in strengthening social harmony and promoting dialogue among different faith communities.

Delivering the keynote address, Archbishop Raphy Manjaly explained the deeper significance of Easter, describing it as a celebration of hope and renewal symbolizing the victory of life over death and light over darkness. He also appreciated Fr. Agnel School for organizing such a meaningful interfaith gathering and for instilling moral values and a sense of unity among its students.

One of the highlights of the event was the release of the school’s annual magazine, “Agnel Lights.” The programme also featured a thought-provoking mime performance, which conveyed a strong social message about unity and togetherness. Cultural presentations including classical dance and musical performances further enhanced the festive and harmonious atmosphere.

During his address, Swami Vivek Muni Ji stressed the importance of respecting all religions and acknowledged the collective efforts of religious leaders in promoting unity among people. He encouraged students to rise above differences and work towards building a peaceful and inclusive society.

Acharya Mohanji, in his remarks, praised India’s inclusive and tolerant culture. He noted that while many countries face conflicts over religion and land, India continues to stand as a shining example of unity in diversity. He reiterated that God is one and emphasized the need for mutual respect and understanding among people of all faiths.

The celebration concluded on an inspiring and harmonious note, leaving the audience with a strong message of unity, love, and peaceful coexistence, which remains essential for building a better and more compassionate society.
