Greater Noida’s Gaur City duo murder case has unfolded to reveal shocking details in which a 16-year-old boy had allegedly confessed to kill his own mother and sister. The boy was missing since after the brutal murder and has been found in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi on Friday and was brought to Greater Noida on Saturday.

To describe the sequence of events, the district police chief today held a press conference in which Senior Superintendent of Police, Gautam Budh Nagar, Love Kumar said, “During interrogation of Prakhar Agarwal (accused of murder) in presence of his father he has confessed his crime. On asking why he committed the crime he alleged his mother of putting excessive pressure on him for studies. On the day of incident he was beaten by his mother because of his poor performance in studies and he was very depressed of the same. He committed the crime in same fit of rage.”

SSP said the mode of crime was very brutal as described by the boy and it is a matter of concern for whole of the society.

Further he added, “The minor accused had used a cricket bat to hit his mother on her head. Even after that he stabbed her with a scissor and then with pizza cutter to make sure that she was dead. When he found that his sister had also woken up and he won’t be able to make her understand anything about the state of his mother, he instantly decided to murder her as well.

After that he changed his blood soaked clothes and took some money and reached society gate as was also evident from the CCTV footage of lift. Thereafter by taking a cab he reached New Delhi Railway Station and afterwards he kept on travelling from Delhi to Chandigarh to shimla again chandigarh and from there to Ranchi and then to Mughalsarai. From Mughalsarai he made a call to his father. As we got this information we immediately rushed a team to there through first available flight but unfortunately we weren’t able to find him immediately. However after some time he was arrested from another area of Varanasi.”

SSP also rejected the theory that was in some quarters of media that he was under the influence of the ‘High School Gangster Escape’ game which might have influenced him to commit this crime.
