Galgotias University believes in student centric activities: VC Dr Preeti Bajaj

Greater Noida (23/07/2022): With the 6th convocation of Galgotias University currently underway, Galgotias University Dr Preeti Bajaj outlined various achievements of the institute.
Dr. Preeti Bajaj, VC, Galgotias University, said, “The student have secured their dream placements with Amazon, HP, etc. The highest package have been over 35lakh whereas the average package that students got was about 5.5lakh.”
She noted that Galgotias University is globally known for its brand value, research endeavors and excellent placements .
“Seven teams from the university have recently made it to the Smart India Hackathon 2022 event,” she said, adding,
“International doesn’t only mean boundary but defines what we exactly do. We have signed different international MoUs as well. Our professors have been awarded internationally as well for their accomplishments.”
Talking about co-curricular activities, Dr Bajaj said, “Galgotias University has hosted various national and international contests and conferences. Many faculties have won research awards in various fronts. Over 137 faculties have got their accomplishments by writing papers.”
“The university believes in student centric activities with very strong presence of student council. There are 125 clubs and societies currently operational in the campus,” Dr Bajaj shared.
She also announced the names of winners of the chancellors’ trophy and key achievers from the passing out batch. Her enthusiastic speech was followed by a loud round of applause.
