Galgotias University Convocation 2026: Degrees, Pride and Emotional Moments Define the Celebration

Greater Noida News (31/03/2026): The grand 10th Convocation Ceremony 2026, held on 29 March 2026 at Galgotias University in Greater Noida, became a memorable occasion of pride and achievement for graduating students. During the ceremony, students were awarded degrees for their academic accomplishments and were extended best wishes for a bright future.
On this occasion, the chief guest was former Indian Space Research Organisation Chairman and Padma Shri awardee A. S. Kiran Kumar. The ceremony was also attended by social worker and water conservation expert Uma Shankar Pandey, Dhanuka Agritech’s Ram Gopal Agarwal, and Vineet Goenka, along with several other distinguished guests.
The program was organized under the chairmanship of the university’s Chancellor and Founder Sunil Galgotia. Pro-Chancellor Padmini Galgotia, the university’s CEO Dhruv Galgotia, Director Aradhana Galgotia, and several industry leaders also graced the event. They were joined by Vice Chancellor K. Mallikarjun Babu, Chancellor’s Advisor Prabhat Kumar, Pro Vice Chancellor Avadhesh Kumar, and Registrar Nitin Kumar Gaur.
Parents and students, including Rachna Mishra and Devanshi, shared emotional and proud moments as degrees were conferred.
Rachna Mishra, a resident of Kanpur, expressed immense happiness upon seeing her daughter receive her degree. She shared that both of her children studied at the same institution—her son had earlier completed B.Tech, while her daughter recently completed BCA. She described her experience with the university as very positive and appreciated the supportive faculty.
Another parent also expressed pride, saying that she had never witnessed such a grand convocation ceremony before. She described the moment as unforgettable and filled with joy for the entire family.
Students also reflected on their academic journeys. Devanshi, who was awarded a gold medal, shared that she completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the university. She said that over time she became more disciplined and confident and is now planning to pursue a PhD.
Other students highlighted their personal growth and transformation. One student mentioned that although the journey initially felt chaotic, it helped them become more responsible and confident. Another student from a Hindi-medium background shared that adapting to English-medium education was challenging, but the support of faculty members made the transition easier.
Students also recalled memorable moments from their college life, including hostel experiences, friendships, and campus activities. Some shared that they had secured placements and felt proud of their achievements and those of their peers.
One student emphasized that along with academics, students should also focus on communication skills, personality development, and overall exposure to better prepare for corporate life.
Parents present at the ceremony described the institution as well-equipped with modern infrastructure and praised the opportunities it provides for students’ growth. They called the moment of receiving degrees and awards a significant and emotional milestone.
Students and parents alike described the convocation as a memorable occasion marking both achievement and personal growth.
At the end of the ceremony, the university administration reiterated its commitment to promoting quality education, research, innovation, and global opportunities. They also welcomed graduating students into the university’s global alumni network and extended their best wishes for a bright and successful future.
