Galgotias University hosts Entrepreneur Orientation Programme organized by UP Govt

Galgotias University hosted Entrepreneur Orientation Programme organised by Government of Uttar Pradesh on the university campus. During the event, Avinash Srivastava, IAS (Retd.), Former Secretary Government of India & Member National Company Law Tribunal shared valuable insights with students about the policies and schemes of the Government that will attract investment and boost Uttar Pradesh’s GDP to a trillion dollars in the next five years.

Post hosting the UP Global Investors Summit in 2023, the state has been able to implement more than 14000 projects with an estimated investment of approximately Rs. 10 lac crore and generating 33.50 lac employment opportunities in a short span of one year. In order to reverberate this success and the investment momentum created in UP, the State Government is organizing a ceremony (GBC 4.0) between 19th February to 21st February, 2024, at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow.
Investors Summit 2023, serves as a platform for fostering economic growth, innovation, and collaboration in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

On this occasion, Chancellor, Suneel Galgotia said that the summit will showcase UP’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for investors, highlighting the state’s vast potential across various sectors. It is a testament to the government’s dedication to promote sustainable development and attracting investments that drive job creation and prosperity.

CEO, Dr Dhruv Galgotia mentioned that as we navigate the challenges of a rapidly changing global economy, UP governaments’ strategic focus on sectors such as infrastructure, manufacturing, technology and education positions the state as a key player on the national and international stage.
IAS (Retd), Avinash Srivastava informed the students about the various policies of the Government and gave insights on how to explore partnerships, discover untapped markets, and contribute to the economic resurgence of Uttar Pradesh.
