Galgotias University hosts “Smart Fellowship Orientation” program

Today, Galgotias University hosted the “Smart Fellowship Orientation” program.

This orientation program was conducted for “The Smart Fellowship” initiative by Nimaya Foundation, in collaboration with the Knowledge Partners Ashoka University’s Center for Social and Behavioral Change for the students of Galgotias University.

Navya Nanda, Founder of the Nimaya Foundation, addressed the students online and discussed the importance of “women’s empowerment.” She talked about providing opportunities to women who are ambitious and dream of advancing India, and who strive toward this goal. She further stated that women are naturally hardworking and blessed with entrepreneurial skills. We need to bring out their inherent skills. It is necessary to show empathy and sensitivity on a daily basis towards already suffering men and women.

Samyak Chakraborty, Co-Founder of the Nimaya Foundation, and Ms. Sharon Mary Samhart from Ashoka University spoke about social and behavioral sciences. Discussions also included natural intelligence as a qualification in the AI era.

Ruchika Thakkar Chief Architect Operations (Smart Fellowship Program) the discussed the importance of focus and effort in the program, and explored why women can become great CEOs. She emphasized enhancing natural intelligence.

Aradhana Galgotia, Director of Operations at Galgotias University, highlighted the significance of today’s program, stating that the objective of such programs is to promote women’s progress and build their confidence. Women’s empowerment is crucial for the development of the country. Empowering women is essential as they are great creators.

Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University, encouraged everyone for the successful organization of the event and spoke about women’s empowerment. He highlighted the five key points of women’s empowerment: the sense of self-esteem; the right to make choices and decisions; the right to access opportunities and resources; the power to control their lives both inside and outside the home; and the ability to influence the direction of social order.

Dr. Renu Luthra, Advisor to the Chancellor of Galgotias University, stated that this fellowship program is an exciting opportunity to gain essential skills such as confidence, emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and communication skills. These skills will prepare the students for a successful transition from campus to corporate life and assist them in becoming a productive member of their organization and country. She assured that Galgotias University is always committed to empowering women and providing opportunities to help them achieve their dreams.
