“Galgotias University offers consistent results in placement,” UG topper tells Ten News

Greater Noida (26/07/2022): Galgotias University, a home to more than 17000 students across 150 disciplines including students from abroad, is rapidly emerging as a favorite destination for students. In this segment, Ten News brings to you the experiences shared by the brightest minds, the awardees of the Chancellors Trophy at Galgotias University on the occasion of the 6th convocation ceremony.
The recipient of the Chancellor trophy in the undergraduate course, Darshan Baid, a computer science department student who passed out in 2021 says, “I had a phenomenal experience at Galgotias. I had amazing teachers and friends. I have taken part in several club activities and they have been very important in my career.” Talking about placements, Darshan says,
“I got my placements from Galgotias University in Commvault at 24 lakhs per annum package.
Galgotias has a history of nearly 100% placement and all of my friends are placed. Galgotias have been offering consistent results in placement.”
Babita Pandey, a MTech. Environmental Engineering student from the 2021 batch of the Galgotias University and the awardee of Chancellors Trophy in postgraduate category says, “All the faculties were extremely helpful. Thesis, being a postgraduate student, was not a cup of tea for all of us but because of my guide and the Civil Department, it was very easy. Being awarded by the Chancellors trophy has made today the happiest day of my life.” She also talked about the placements at Galgotias, “Placement opportunities are great in Galgotias for any undergraduate or postgraduate courses. In my class, most of the students got placed, many got placed but did not pursue it as they had other priorities.”
Sharing an interesting anecdote from her campus life, Babita said, “When I was in my first semester, I was not eligible to sit in my Mathematics exam due to some technical error but soon it got resolved and today I topped with 96.7% in MTech Energy and Environmental and I’m holding this trophy being extremely grateful and happy!”
