Today, Galgotias University organized a Faculty Development Program under the aegis of the “Art of Living” organization.

The Art of Living is a multifaceted, non-profit educational and humanitarian NGO present in over 156 countries. This organization was founded by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji in 1981.

The Art of Living conducts numerous, highly impactful educational and self-development programs and offers tools that relieve stress. These tools provide profound inner peace, happiness, and well-being. These programs include breathing techniques, meditation, yoga, and practical knowledge for daily life and have helped millions around the world to completely transform their lives.

In this four-day program initiated at Galgotias University, the first day introduced the university faculty members to Sudarshan Kriya and Pranayama techniques. Senior faculty members from the “Art of Living,” including Shri Akhilesh Parmanu Ji, Sadhna Ji, Savita Sharma Ji, Rajesh Mathur Ji, Niti Srivastava, and Shruti Ji, conducted all the sessions for the faculty. They stated that teachers are the only medium to reach the hearts and minds of students, and “Art of Living” has the potential to contribute in this direction by helping teachers reduce mental stress and learn to improve their energy levels for educational excellence.

Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University, praised the program, stating that such wonderful programs are beneficial and welfare-oriented for all humanity. He said, “Art of Living is much more than a principle or philosophy for living life fully. It is more of a campaign than an institution. Its primary aim is to find peace within ourselves and unite people from various cultures, traditions, religions, and nationalities, reminding us that our ultimate goal is to uplift human life everywhere.”
