Galgotias University student & NCC Cadet salute Defense Minister during rehearsal parade for Republic Day

Preparations for Republic Day have been underway at the NCC Directorate in Delhi for the past month. A total of 2270 NCC cadets from whole India are participating in this Republic Day camp, including 900 girls cadets. The selection of Galgotias University students Swati Kumari and Priya Jha to present the Guard of Honor to the chief guests is a matter of unprecedented pride and honor for the entire Galgotias University.

During the parade rehearsal, these two students have already saluted Vice President Jagdeep Dhanakad and Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhary who arrived as Chief guests during the rehearsal parade.

Yesterday, on January 20, when Defense Minister Rajnath Singh arrived to witness the Republic Day parade rehearsal, Swati Kumari and Priya Jha presented him with Guard of Honor.

On the other hand, in the series of cultural programs, the group dance from Uttar Pradesh has been given a prominent place in the parade. In this, Galgotias University student Aparna Sharma has been selected as participant. Another student from the university, Angira Raj has been given responsibility of anchoring the programs. All these students have illuminated and highlighted Galgotias University with a strong display of their patriotism and exceptional talents.
