Galgotias University Successfully Organizes ‘Azure Developer Day-2024’

Greater Noida: Galgotias University recently hosted Azure Developer Day-2024, an important educational event focusing on cloud computing and the latest technologies related to Microsoft Azure. The event aimed to provide students, faculty members, and industry experts with cutting-edge knowledge about the Azure platform and its applications. This event was organized by the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Galgotias University, in collaboration with the Microsoft Azure Developer Community and Reskill.

The program began with the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and progress. Esteemed guests at the event included Professor (Dr.) Avadhesh Kumar, Pro-VC of the University; Mr. Saket Kumar, Microsoft expert; Mr. Rajesh Panchal; and Mr. Amul Kumar, among others. Mrs. Pragya Tiwari extended a warm welcome to the guests and formally inaugurated the event.
In his welcome address, Professor (Dr.) Avadhesh Kumar emphasized the importance of coordination between academia and industry. He stated that the collaboration between Galgotias University and Microsoft helps equip students with the essential skills needed in the tech industry. During the event, Microsoft experts discussed cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and various applications of Azure. Mr. Saket Kumar spoke on the topic of promoting innovations in cloud technologies, while Mr. Rajesh Panchal and Mr. Amul Kumar shared their insights on the real-life use and integration of Azure and AI.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the organizers and attendees. The successful execution of the event further solidified Galgotias University’s commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry, while keeping students updated on emerging technologies.
