Genesis Global School Celebrates ‘Landmark’ Season 3

In an endeavour to celebrate the spirit of young scholars, their innovation and talent,Genesis Global School, a premier Day-cum-Residential school in Noida, hosted LANDMARK 2016 – a two-day cultural extravaganza in its premises. The competition showcased a healthy spirit of students actively participating in music, art and literature.

This cultural fest incorporated various activities in its two-day course, including Ad Mad, Art and Craft, Music and Dance competitions, Dramatics like Nukkad Natak and Skits, Video Games, Photography, etc.

Many well-known schools from the Delhi/NCR area including Modern School, Barakhamba Road, Delhi Public School, Noida, APJ School, Noida, Lotus Valley International School, Noida, Kothari International School, Noida, Amity International School, Noida, Cambridge School, Noida, Springdales School, Delhi and Ahlcon International School, Delhi participated in the multitude of activities.

Amongst the special guests present on the first day of the festival, was the renowned artiste Ragini Chandrashekhar. Giving her debutante performance at the age of 10, she has carved out a niche for herself as one of India’s finest Bharatnatyam dancers, with quintessential performances across the globe.

Furthermore, the presence of Nalini and Kamalini Astana – the internationally renowned Kathak Duo, as chief guests, exemplified the essence and spirit of the event. Known for their refined sensibilities and subtlety, their style is an irrefutable pleaser to both the aesthete and purist.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pramod Sharma, Director-Principal, Genesis Global School said, “We believe that a harmonious blend of academic and co-curricular activities add panache to the personality of students.  This two-day event intends to help in celebrating the creativity, language skills and performing arts. LANDMARK, which is organized every year, is an effort conceived with the thought that our students will truly be scholars only when they are well versed with music, art and literature.

LANDMARK, a vibrant and colourful festival, promises an equal and fair opportunity to every student who “Aspires to Inspire”. From the feisty art to the soulful music to the rhapsody of rhythmic dances, the event was fabricated to propel the intellect and discover the latent potential of every individual participating.
