Genesis Global School organises 3rd Artist Camp from April 11th to 13th

Genesis Global School, a premier day-cum-residential school in Noida, organised the third Genesis Artist Camp from April 11th to April 13th. The camp featured five eminent artists, namely Mr. Shyam Sharma (Patna), Mr. Yusuf (Bhopal), Mr. Nawal Kishore (Ghaziabad), Mrs. Annu Naik (Delhi) and Ms. Bandana Kumari (Bhopal).

During the camp, the artists demonstrated their techniques by producing paintings and prints in front of the scholars giving the children a good learning platform. The scholars also got the chance to interact with the artists and learn about the nuances. All the artists later showcased their works where the scholars got the opportunity to closely observe the artwork and educate themselves about the fine skills.

Talking about the event, Mr. Pramod Sharma, Director, Genesis Global School said, “This is a great opportunity for the students to interact and observe the artists closely and learn.  Most school going students do not get an opportunity to see an artist at work, to observe how a canvas builds and evolves with the thought process of the artist. The camp also allows our Genesians to understand the professional aspects and the hard work that goes into becoming a recognised and renowned artist. This event is our attempt to bridge the gap between learning in the classroom and real life application of that learning. Going forward, we hope to continue taking such initiatives, which encourage involvement of our scholars and help them attain higher level awareness.”
