GIMS and Galgotias University Sign MoU to Strengthen Research Work

Greater Noida (18/06/2025): The Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Greater Noida, in collaboration between the Galgotias University, signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Utilization of Animal House Facility for Research Work. This partnership marks a significant step toward advancing collaborative efforts in medical research. This landmark agreement represents a shared vision to harness the complementary strengths of both institutions in the realm of scientific and healthcare innovation.

Prof. K. Mallikarjunna Babu, Vice Chancellor, Galgotias University addressed the gathering and emphasized the strategic importance of this MoU and highlighted it as a transformative milestone, laying the foundation for long-term institutional synergy and meaningful collaboration within the vital domains of healthcare and research.

Dr. (Brig.) Rakesh Kr Gupta, Director, GIMS, expressed his profound appreciation for the collaborative framework established through the collaboration with the Galgotias University. He emphasized that the MoU with Galgotias University would significantly strengthen the research infrastructure and enable faculty and students to undertake advanced biomedical studies aligned with global standards.

From Galgotias, the MoU signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Rehman, Dean, Dept of Pharmacy, Prof. Ranjan, HoD, Dept of Pharmacology and from GIMS Dr. Saurabh Srivastava, CMS & Prof of Gen Med., Dr. Ekta Arora, Assoc. Prof & Head, Dept. of Pharmacology, Dr. Aprajita Panwar, Faculty I/C Admin & Assoc. Prof. Dept of Physiology, Dr. Ravi Kr Chaudhary, Sen. Scientist, Dept of Med Research and Mr. Mukesh, Incharge, CTU, GIMS.
