GIMS Greater Noida Hosts Book Release and Expert Lecture on Critical Care Anaesthesia

Greater Noida News (13/02/2026): Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Greater Noida witnessed a significant academic event as the Department of Anaesthesia organized the release of its scholarly publication, Healing in Critical Moments, accompanied by a special guest lecture by noted critical care expert Dr. Ranajit Chatterjee.
The newly released book focuses on the pivotal role played by anaesthesiologists in managing high-risk and life-threatening clinical situations. It underscores the specialty’s contribution to patient safety, perioperative care, and critical decision-making in emergency settings. Healing in Critical Moments has been edited under the guidance of Dr. Nazia Nazir, Head of the Department of Anaesthesia, along with Prof. Samiksha Khanuja, who served as Chief Editor. Their editorial leadership was widely appreciated for bringing together practical insights and academic rigor in the field of anaesthesiology.

The event was attended by senior officials of the institute, including Dr. Rakesh Gupta, Director, GIMS; Dr. Rambha Pathak, Dean; and Dr. Saurabh Shrivastava, Chief Medical Superintendent.
